As many people know, in late August 2015 I will be embarking on an adventure to climb Mt.Kilimanjaro - Africa's highest mountain.
My aim is to raise a considerable amount of money to benefit the lives of the poor and orphaned children of East Africa, through a charity called Hope for children. The money I raise will help to build schools and pay for an education these children have long been dreaming for.
For eight days, I will be trekking through five distinct climatic zones. I will face some of the harshest weather and difficult terrain, before topping out at 5895 metres above sea level.
To fundraise I will be do busking in Bournemouth town centre, car washes, organising art exhibitions in Bournemouth and Reading, a bike race event, and more.
My reasoning for doing this? To raise money for a great charity and to have an incredible experience - In hope for the children who need the help of charities like these.
All and any size donations are greatly appreciated and thanks for your support!
I MADE IT!
